Frequently asked questions
How often do RCDs need testing?
It depends on your environment. Construction sites usually need more frequent checks, while offices need them less often. We'll recommend the right schedule for your workplace.
Will testing cut the power?
A trip test briefly cuts power to that circuit. We plan around your business to keep disruption to a minimum.
What happens if an RCD fails?
We record the failure and let you know straight away so it can be repaired or replaced by a licensed electrician.
Do you test rental properties?
Yes. We test safety switches for property managers and landlords across Darwin NT.
